To amend Section 120 of Am. Sub. H.B. 215 of the 13
122nd General Assembly to appropriate money for a 14
contribution to the World War II Memorial in
Washington, D.C. 15
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO: 16
Section 1. That Section 120 of Am. Sub. H.B. 215 of the 18
122nd General Assembly be amended to read as follows: 19

The foregoing appropriation items 743-501, 746-501, 141

Support, shall be released upon approval by the Director of 144
Budget and Management.
American Ex-Prisoners of War 146
The American Ex-Prisoners of War shall be permitted to 148
share an office with the Veterans of World War I. 149
Central Ohio United Services Organization 151
Of the foregoing appropriation item, 751-501, Vietnam 153
Veterans of America, $50,000 in each fiscal year shall be used to 154
support the activities of the Central Ohio USO. 155
Women in Military Service Memorial 157

Of the foregoing appropriation item 752-501, American 159
Legion of Ohio, $25,000 in fiscal year 1998 shall be used for a 160
contribution to The Women in Military Service Memorial in 161
Washington, D.C.
WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL FUND 164
OF THE FOREGOING APPROPRIATION ITEM 753-501, VETERANS OF 167
WORLD WAR II-KOREA-VIETNAM, $893,000 IN FISCAL YEAR 1999 SHALL BE 168
USED FOR A CONTRIBUTION TO THE WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL IN 170
WASHINGTON, D.C."
Section 2. That existing Section 120 of Am. Sub. H.B. 215 172
of the 122nd General Assembly is hereby repealed. 173
Section 3. The section of law contained in this act is not 175
subject to the referendum. Therefore, under Ohio Constitution, 176
Article II, Section 1d and section 1.471 of the Revised Code, the 177
section of law contained in this act goes into immediate effect 178
when this act becomes law.
