A BILL

To amend various sections of the Revised Code to address the current mortgage foreclosure crisis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. It is the General Assembly's intent to alter various provisions of law pertaining to the home mortgage foreclosure process, to establish various regulations of persons involved in that process, and to provide various types of assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure and to that end that sections of the Revised Code be amended, enacted, and repealed to provide the necessary authorizations and statutory law changes.
