A BILL

To enact section 105.411 of the Revised Code to

direct the Capitol Square Review and Advisory

Board to promote erection on the capitol grounds

of a monument honoring the Ohio Tuskegee Airmen.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 105.411 of the Revised Code be	5
enacted to read as follows:	6

Sec. 105.411. (A) The capitol square review and advisory	7
board, as one of its functions, shall promote the erection on the	8
capitol grounds of a monument honoring the Ohio tuskegee airmen.	9
The general assembly may appropriate money to the board, and the	10
board may accept donations of money, for that purpose. The board	11
shall not commence erection of the monument until the board	12
determines that sufficient funds are available in the Ohio	13
tuskegee airmen monument custodial fund to pay the cost of	14
erecting the monument.	15

(B) There is hereby created the Ohio tuskegee airmen monument	16
custodial fund, which shall be in the custody of the treasurer of	17
state but shall not be part of the state treasury. The board may	18
draw money from the fund to erect the monument.	19
