Publishing Action
As Introduced
Various actions taken by the House or Senate cause a new version of the legislation to be published. Each version will reflect any amendments added since the previous published version. Resolutions will have multiple versions published during their life cycle. Refer to this field on the Resolutions Online page to determine the action taken by the House or Senate that resulted in the version of the resolution you are reading. At the bottom of this column is a list of other versions of this resolution that you can also review online.
Resolution Sponsors

This section lists the sponsors of the resolution you are viewing and links you to their biographical information on the House or Senate web site. The Primary Sponsor is listed first.
Other Versions of Resolution and Associated Reports

This field lists the different versions of the resolution you are viewing. They are listed in the order in which the action was taken with the most recent listed first.
The online versions of legislation provided on this website are NOT official. The official version of resolutions are available from the LSC Bill Room located at the north end of the Ground Floor of the Statehouse. Enrolled bills are the final version passed by the Ohio General Assembly and presented to the Governor for signature. The official version of acts signed by the Governor are available from the Secretary of State's Office in the Continental Plaza, 180 East Broad St., Columbus.

Resolutions Online Help

This page is simply a guide to the information found on the Resolutions Online pages. Once you have found the resolution that you want, the General Assembly web site will link you to a page that has the resolution text, as well as a left hand column that displays a plethora of information about the resolution. Found here is a description of the different fields on the resolutions page. To return to the resolution that you were reviewing, simply click on the Back button at the top of your browser window.

The text in the right hand box (where this text is located) will be the text of the resolution you are wanting to review. The text reflects the amendments established up to this point in the resolution's life cycle but does not reflect the line numbers that are normally associated with the printed version of the resolutions. This is simply for ease reading purposes and reviewing. If you wish to review the resolution in its printed form, with the pre-formatted text and line numbers, simply click on the link at the top of the left hand column just under the resolution number entitled "View Full Text with Line Numbers."
